Whisky, the sea and communication. Integration between industry, gastronomy and culture

We will take a look at the Fèis Ìle Festival in Islay, Scotland, as an example of how an industry can integrate with the culture, gastronomy and identity of a region. This session will explore how whisky, the coastal landscape and local traditions come together to create an internationally recognised tourist experience. The session will also discuss the importance of storytelling, communication and cross-sector collaboration in transforming a product into a cultural expression that can attract visitors and foster local pride.
